HPPAA presents concerts, workshops, residencies, public-history programs, and interdisciplinary arts experiences that bring artists, learners, partners, and audiences together across Central Texas. Selected 2026 programs are part of HPPAA’s Double Vision Elevate Series, supported in part by an Elevate Grant from Austin Arts, Culture, Music & Entertainment.

Double Vision Jazz Ensemble brings Eddie Durham's music and historical context back to the San Marcos community where his story began. Live performance, new interpretation, and Texas jazz history meet within the annual public celebration.

Texas Jazz History Live at Nica on 4th
Each Wednesday, the Hank Hehmsoth Trio brings live jazz together with stories of Texas artists and the musical legacy of Baroness Pannonica “Nica” de Koenigswarter. Music and history meet in an intimate evening at Nica on 4th.

Youth Jazz Workshop

Thirty-five young musicians joined Double Vision for listening, ensemble communication, improvisation, and a welcoming public jam session.
