H Project Performing Arts Association (HPPAA) is an Austin-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to build community through jazz by presenting public performances, educating young musicians, preserving Texas music history, and creating interdisciplinary arts programs across Central Texas.

HPPAA advances jazz as a living art form through performance, education,
and community engagement. We champion collaboration, honor our heritage,
and invest in the next generation.
What We Do
Present Public Programs
HPPAA presents concerts, workshops, lecture-demonstrations, and community arts events in accessible public settings.
Support Artists and Educators
HPPAA programs create opportunities for artists, educators, students, and community partners to collaborate through live performance, teaching, and public engagement.
Preserve and Share Cultural History
HPPAA documents performances, interviews, program materials, and Texas jazz history projects so they can continue reaching audiences after live events.
Build Community Access
HPPAA works to reduce barriers to participation by supporting public-facing programs, educational outreach, and community partnerships.
